Creating a crowdfunding page or registering a charity on BackaBuddy is free.
Admin costs are only incurred once your campaign has begun raising funds.
The BackaBuddy Foundation collects a 7% +VAT = 8.05% and a transaction fee which covers the costs of our 3rd party bank and payment channel fees.
Our 7% admin fee supports the sustainability of our non-profit organisation, as well as our operational, maintenance and development costs, as we work towards accomplishing the BackaBuddy foundation’s mission.
Note: More than 50% of our donors graciously cover the 7% admin fee when making a donation on BackaBuddy, allowing more funds to reach our beneficiaries.
